With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Phillip R. Nagel (Rensselaer, Indiana), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Phillip left this world on February 17, 2025 at the age of 71, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Nagel and Louis Nagel. He is survived by: his siblings, Louis Nagel, Beth Marcin, Nancy McIntosh, Karen Brunton and Mary Ellen Crosby; his close friend Kristi Slaby; and his children, Kim Boccardi, Eric Nagel and Janell Haldeman. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Jackson Funeral Chapel of Rensselaer (250 N McKinley Ave, Rensselaer, IN 47978). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (318 N McKinley Ave, Rensselaer, IN 47978).
