It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phillip Evers of Rensselaer, Indiana, who passed away on October 1, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Phillip Evers to show support.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Evers and Bertha Evers (Nuss); and his stepson Kenneth Montgomery. He is survived by: his wife Lois Evers (Brunton); his daughters, Deborah Evers Klein of Cumming, Georgia and Sarah Evers of Cumming, Georgia; his stepchildren, Steven Mechur, Sheryl Hartman and Kim McElroy; his granddaughters, Jessica of Cumming, Georgia. and Kaitlyn Klein of Cumming, Georgia.; and his pets, Cotton, Nottoc, Phill, Mittens and Buddy. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Due to the current pandemic, the family requests that all attending services at the funeral home please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
