He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillips Sawyer and Elsie Pearl Wood (Otto); his spouse Shirley C. Carlberg of Elizabeth; and his sister Mary Anne Wood. He is survived by: his sons, Richard Phillips Wood (Wendy) of Sutton, AK, Jeffrey Wood (Dianna) of Rensselaer, IN. and Bruce K. Wood (Sheila) of Rensselaer, IN.; his grandchildren, Michael, Sarah, Megan and Laura; and his stepgrandsons, Jonathan and Travis. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and 4 step great-grandchildren.
