She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Thurston and Esther Thurston (Atkinson); her husband Ronald Lee Hickman; and her brother Thomas Thurston. She is survived by: her children, Daniel Lee Hickman (Alicia) of Carmel, IN, Sherry Kay Schmidt (Chris) of Crown Point, IN, Kenneth Riley Hickman (Jodi) of Rensselaer, IN and Chad Alan Hickman (Leanne) of Indianapolis, IN. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church and/or the Alzheimer's Association.
