It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lucille Smith of Rensselaer, Indiana, born in Morocco, Indiana, who passed away on September 5, 2022, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Grant Hampton and Flossie Hampton (Williams); her husband Eugene Smith; and her sister Dorothy Rathbun. She is survived by: her children, Jerald Smith (Deenise) of Medaryville, IN, Donna Erickson (Steve) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Eugene "Rick" Smith (Carol) of Kentland, IN. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
