He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Sayers and Ethel Sayers; and his wife Kathleen Engel. He is survived by: his children, Terry Sayers, Scott Sayers, Julie Sherwood and Diana Delmuro (Luis); and his brothers, Jon and Carl Sayers. He is also survived by nine Grandchildren, six Great-Grandchildren.
