It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Lee Vanderwielen of Rensselaer, Indiana, born in Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on October 16, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his former wife Lynne Krabbe; his sons, John Albert and Jeffrey Alan; his wife Judy Grenat Cornell; his pet Bella; his children, Joy Roach (Jim) of Lafayette, Jill Gray (Dave) of Otterbein, Doug (Jody) of West Lafayette and Adam (Amina) of West Lafayette; his stepsiblings, Jason Moore (Linda) of Indianapolis and Becky Arbagast (Mike) of Carmel; his stepchildren, Amy Lucas (Donny) of Lafayette, Joel Cornell (Julie) of Zionsville and Chris Cornell of Lafayette; and his parents, John Vanderwielen and Oneta Moore McKibbin Vanderwielen. He was also cherished by 18 grandchildren and 5 step grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Elara Caring Hospice, the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, or a favorite charity.
