He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert G. Pfledderer and Marguerite Mae Pfledderer (Bemslager); and his wife Fran. He is survived by: his children, Kara Fishburn (Greg) of Rensselaer, Kyle Pfledderer of Rensselaer and Kori Thomas of Newnan, GA; his grandchildren, Christopher Pfledderer (Lauren), Hannah Pfledderer of Rensselaer, Cannon and Brooklyn Thomas of Newnan, GA; his great grandchildren, Archer and Benjamin Pfledderer; and his sisters, Gloria Soderstrom (Robert) and Angela Popovich (Rick).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Legion Post #29.
