She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome Anthony Engel, Sr. and Deloris Ellen Engel (Delfeny); and her brother Tom Engel. She is survived by: her husband Larry Sayers; her children, Diana Delmuro (Luis), Terry Sayers, Scott Sayers (Stephanie) and Julie Sherwood (Ray); and her brother Jerome Anthony "Tony" Engel, Jr.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Kathy's memory may be made to the Amputee Coalition, Shriners Hospitals for Children, or the American Diabetes Association.
