He was predeceased by: his parents, Farish Hensley and Eliza Hensley (Trusty). He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Cross; his daughters, Deanna Graves (Robert), Theresa Wilson (Michael Nelson) and Julie Wireman; his grandchildren, Christina Mattocks (Travis), Tyler Wilson (Leslie), Tyson Wilson (Brandy), Nathan Graves, Allison Conley (Jeremy) and Bailey Mathew; and his great grandchildren, Bryer, Lilly, Natalie, Brynlee, Emery, Hadley, Delanie, Sophia, Lilah, Adalyn and Maci.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Faith Pentecostal Church of Rensselaer, and/or a Good Samaritan Food Pantry of Rensselaer.
