It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James William Hopkins (Rensselaer, Indiana), who passed away on April 1, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Mary Geraldine Hopkins (Florence); his son Jeffery Hopkins; and his son-in-law Troy Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lea Wilcox; his children, James Hopkins (Holly) of Rensselaer, Laura Roberts (late Troy W. Roberts) of San Antonio, TX and Michael Hopkins (Kelli) of Skiatook, OK.; his grandchildren, Brienne Hooker, Samantha Pepple, William Hopkins, Emily Hopkins, Beth Hopkins, Geoffrey Hopkins and Alexander Hopkins; his great grandchildren, Lucy Pepple and Magdeline Hooker; and his sister Jeri Fork (Donald) of Kouts.
Memorial contributions in James's name be made to the First Christian Church of Rensselaer.
