He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Faye Richie and Wireman. He is survived by: his brother Amos Richie (Debra); his nephews, Nathan Richie (Shanan) and Luke Richie; and his niece Brooklyn Richie. He is also survived by extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
