She was predeceased by: her parents, Otha Spriggs and Lucy M. Spriggs (Walker); her husband Ray Dean Hammond; and her siblings, Evelyn Brown (Spriggs), Iris Jones (Spriggs), Loretta Bruce (Spriggs), Louise Battleday (Spriggs), Charlotte Spriggs, Richard Spriggs, Alan Spriggs and Albert Spriggs.
She is survived by: her children, Kassandra Hammond and Jeff Hammond; her grandchildren, Allison Marie Wireman (Hammond) of Remington, Morgan Rae Hammond of Rensselaer and Kenzi Kathryn Hammond of Rensselaer; her sister Anne Pluth of Wyoming; and also, Steve Hammond of Rensselaer, Nathaniel Ray Troop of Remington and Mert Spriggs of Wheatfield. She is also survived by great-grandson, and grandma.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
