He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hurd and Nannie Hurd (Marshal); his wife Mary Elizabeth Hurd; and his daughter Elizabeth. He is survived by: his children, Jack Hurd of Brook, Diane Russell (Steve) of Virginia Beach and Jim Hurd (Tami) of Rensselaer, Ind; his grandchildren, Travis, Jackie (Joe), Ronnie, Brooke, Charity, Ryan (Brandi), Robert (Carlin) and Drake; and his sister Evelyn Helbert. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
