It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorthy J. Bachelder of Rensselaer, Indiana, who passed away on December 13, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Russell Hunter and Mable Marcella Hunter (Kooy); her husband Merle "Dean" Bachelder; and her brothers, Russell Hunter and Robert Hunter.

She is survived by: her siblings, Larry Hunter (Janet) of Rensselaer and Mona Clark (Warner) of Noblesville, IN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church of Rensselaer.
