She was predeceased by: her parents, William Shepherd and Ida Shepherd (Shepherd); her husband Barter Dobson; her siblings, Albert Shepherd, Ron Shepherd and Martha Gravesen; her brothers-in-law, Wilson 'Buddy Dobson, John Meyers and DeVon Jones; and her grandson Joseph A. N. Roorda.
She is survived by: her children, Carter Dobson, Betty Lamp and Victor Dobson (Carol); her grandchildren, Mitchell Dobson, Sarah Britzke (Dobson) and Makayla Lamp; her great grandchild Arlo Britzke; and her siblings, Grace Hilton (Vern), Shirley Godby (John), Bruce Shepherd (Carolyn) and Kitty Mahaffey (Tom).
