He was predeceased by: his parents, Green Risner and Ocie Risner (Bailey); and his brothers, Jim Risner and Dale Risner. He is survived by: his wife Anita M. Zimmer; his children, Elizabeth Sonaty (Jason) of Morocco, IN, Jacob Risner (Yesuk) of Yorba Linda, CA, Jane Cochran (Michael) of West Lafayette, IN and David Risner (Vannessa) of Carson, CA; his grandchildren, Kathryn, John, Allison, Joby, Astoria, Harrison and Eva; his siblings, Green, Marilyn Risner of Wanatah, IN, Wanda Gordon (Ken) of LaPorte, IN and Donna Johnson (John) of The Villages, FL; and his sisters-in-law, Eva Risner and Mary Risner.
Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Dennis to Friends of the Jasper County Animal Shelter or St. Augustine Catholic School.
