She was predeceased by: her grandparents, James McEwen, John and Beth Shafer. She is survived by: her parents, John Shafer (Sheri) and Sheila Shafer (Greg Leuck) of Rensselaer, IN; her siblings, Paige Strange (Kale) of Delphi, IN, Hollison Shafer of Rensselaer, IN, Dalton Shafer (Shannon Snow) of Rensselaer, IN and Jack Shafer of Indianapolis, IN; her stepsiblings, Chris Leuck (Andrea) and Eric Leuck; her grandmother Beulah McEwen; and her nieces and nephews, Zayden, Sophia Shafer, Warren Strange and Holt Leuck.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the Jasper County Animal Shelter or the RCHS band.
