It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Walter Schultz of Rensselaer, Indiana, who passed away on June 30, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Erich Oscar and Mary Alice Schultz (Lattimore). He is survived by: his wife Donna Ailene Cawby; his children, Suzanne Gilmore (Gary) of Rensselaer, IN, David Schultz (Virginia) of Rensselaer, IN and Derich Schultz (Jacquelynn Bezik) of Rensselaer, IN; his grandchildren, Christopher Gilmore (Rayann), Stephanie Miller (Chris), Kira Penry, Ashley Allen (Chris), Jessica Huff (Matt), Ashton Schultz and Allie Schultz; and his brother Elmer Schultz (Elizabeth). He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. John Lutheran Church of Rensselaer.
