Alta Mae Stewart Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alta Mae Stewart (Rensselaer, Indiana), who passed away on April 13, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kupke and Regina Kupke (Nutt); and her husband Robert Joseph Stewart. She is survived by: her children, Rita Barnett (Norris) of Rensselaer, Ind, Diane Evansin of Denver, CO and Michelle Stewart (Russ Hall) of Chula Vista, CA.. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, private graveside services will be held at Memory Gardens of Rensselaer with Pastor John Hostetter officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church of Rensselaer.
