He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Neal Atkinson and Rita Atkinson (Williams); his stepson Mathew C. West of Indianapolis; and his siblings, Barbara Dowell (Rodney) of Valparaiso, Dale Atkinson of Remington and Donald Atkinson. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made in Ronald's name to Faith Christian Tabernacle of Rensselaer.
