She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert H. Curtis and Hazel M. Curtis (Mills); her husband Harry Schwier; and her sister Phyllis Malott. She is survived by: her children, Pamela J. Van DerVeen (Ed Bolt) of Kansas, Steven W. Laffoon (Sharon) of Ft. Worth, TX, Patricia McGee (Charles) of Rensselaer, IN and Gregory A. Schwier (Tracy) of Crown Point, IN.; and her brother Delmer Curtis (Barb) of Mountain Home, AR.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in Joyce's name to American legion Post 280 Auxiliary.
