It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick E. Steinkamp Jr. of Remington, Indiana, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on September 7, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick E. Sr. Steinkamp and Hazel Steinkamp (Wolff); and his half-sisters, Carol Eilleen Mosby and Sharon Lynn Rupe. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to Hanna Community Center, Arise Christian Fellowship, or Purdue University Athletics.
