With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Garlinda Sue Mathews of Reelsville, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As we bid adieu to Garlinda Sue's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Garlinda Sue has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, W. D. Trout and Schellia Trout (King); her husband Lyle Mathews Sr.; and her sister Christina Trout. She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Mathews, Eddie Mathews (Lyn), Marlon "Hof" Mathews, Tenia Wheat (John) and Cliff Mathews; and her brother Donald Trout. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Croy's Creek Cemetery (8921 W County Rd 1050 S, Reelsville, IN 46171).
