She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur G. DeFur and Francis M. DeFur (Kahle); her brother Roland DeFur; her grandson Dylan Lee Alwine; and her brothers-in-law, Robert Eugene Butcher, David Richard Butcher and Phillip Stanley Butcher.
She is survived by: her husband Rev. Neil D. Butcher; her children, John Michael Butcher (Auburn), Kelly Jo Fretz, Catherine Marie Mahler, Marianne Kay Alwine and Auburn; her sisters, Barbara Sue Zahn and Grethel Faye Dowers; and her siblings-in-law, Steve Butcher, Daniel Butcher and Gloria Butcher. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, several step-great-grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews.
