It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James D. Pierce of Quincy, Indiana, born in Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on July 23, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Pierce and Floella Pierce (Watson); his brother Earl W. Pierce; and his son Danny Shane. He is survived by: his children, Dennis Shane (Sue) of Coal City, IN, Corrine Williams (Gary) of Quincy, IN and Hallie Lyles of Brownsburg, IN; and his sister Janetta Brunner of Evansville. He is also survived by thirteen Grandchildren, twenty-three Great Grandchildren and four Great-Great Grandchildren.
