She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Ray Townsend; her son Jackie Ray Townsend; and her siblings, Curtis, Elwood, James Rogers, Nina Fifer, Lillian Stallings and Bessie Bradford.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Mayer of Haubstadt, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Maurice, Jason Hill, Sara Nunn and Tiffany Maestes. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
