She was predeceased by: her father Alvin Jarvis; her stepmother Lillie Jarvis; her former husband Jimmy Deffendall; her husband Luther Houchins; her children, Stanley Wayne, Linda Lou, Patricia Ann and Imogene; her siblings, Martha Jarvis Morris, Carol Linxwiler, Naomi Jarvis, Gilbert and Harvey Jarvis; and her nephew Michael Jarvis.
She is survived by: her stepson Ron Houchins (Lucretia); her nieces and nephews, Dale Young (Lisa), Dennis, Randy Young, Tony Jarvis (Debbie), Stanley Jarvis (Kris), Gary Jarvis (Jenn), Sandra Boling (Mark), Kristina Harper (Estee) and Kristy Jarvis; her great-nieces, Shaina Worland, Shannon Young and Cristy Tipton; her caregivers, Edna Hutton, Sandy Smith, Debbie Hale, Diana Evans and Cindy Hillyard; and her close friends, Vera Hurst, Devona Smith, Catherine Williams and Kelly Anderson.
