He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Greg Shearer and Beth Shearer (Brian) of St. Francisville, Illinois.; his daughters, Cristine Sampson, Darian and Mara Shearer; his siblings, Ben Shearer of St. Francisville and Angela Earls of McKinney, Texas; his fiancée Emily Mosier; and his fiancée's children, Jaeda Crews, Cabryn and Kane Mosier.
Active in the Gibson County community, he was president of Downtown Princeton, Inc. and served the community through donations, hosting fundraisers and other community activities.
