He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Younginger and Minnie Monroe Younginger (Gilmour); and his sisters, Marlene, Karen and Linda.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Monroe (Mason) of Princeton; his children, Ed Monroe (Kelly) of Princeton and Tonya Wells (Tony) of Haubstadt; his grandchildren, Stephen Knox (Ramina), Kyle Monroe (Ashley Dyer), Alana Grise (Marlin), Trace Monroe, John and Jesse Ervin; and his half-brothers, Raymond Drew of Princeton and Phillip Monroe of Columbia. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
