She was predeceased by: her father Rev. Frank Reed; her siblings, Herbert Reed, Loren Hubert Reed, Franklin Bertram Reed and Nora Ellen Wilkerson; and her brother-in-law Jim Fincher.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Hurst of Hazleton; her sons, Kenneth F. Hurst of Princeton and Randall L. Hurst (Valerie) of Princeton; her grandchildren, Lanisa Hurst of Pickens, S. C. and Stewart Hurst (Shyanna) of Imler, Pennsylvania; her sister Shirley Fincher of Evansville; her sisters-in-law, Lilian Reed of Pheonix and Dorothy Reed of Columbus, Indiana; and her mother Grace Reed (Baker). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
