He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Banet and Venetta Banet (Kendle); his siblings, Bernedette Banet and James T. "Jimmy" Banet; his former wife Lois Banet; his wife Lynda Banet; and his stepson-in-law Rick Reneer.
He is survived by: his children, Shawnee Halbig (Kenny) of Princeton, Victor Banet (Amy) of Princeton and Carrie Davis (Brad) of Gaston, IN; his stepchildren, Shea Reneer of Princeton and Jon Loftin (Michelle) of Fishers; his siblings, Jane Ann Slinker (Bill) of Newburgh, Judy Hyneman (Bret) of Mt. Olympus and Johnny Banet (Vicki) of Mt Olympus; his grandchildren, Dalton, Payton Halbig, Caty Banet-Fisher, Cejay, Destin Hardy, Jordan Banet, Cahner Briggs, Jordan "Boogie" Watson, Cale Banet, Leo and Lois Davis; his stepgrandchildren, Brock, Beau Reneer, Hailey and Makenzie Loftin; his great grandchild Casey Banet; and his stepgreat-grandchild Callum Reneer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
