She is survived by: her husband Joe; her former husband Joseph D. Bates; her daughters, Sarah Bates (Matthew Raines) of Chicago, IL and Abbie Baer (Morgan) of Glen Carbon, IL; her sister Maureen Brzinski (Pladis) of Poplar Grove, IL; and her siblings-in-law, Patricia O'Rourke (Tim) of Bedford, IN, Priscilla Caringer of Princeton, IN, Barbara Krieg (Dale) of Princeton, IN, Pamela Bates of Evansville, IN, Robert "Bud" Bates of Owensboro, KY, Edward Bates (Vikki) of Camden, SC, Jerry Bates of Hazelton, IN, Jeff Bates (Donna) of Patoka, IN, Tim Bates (Lana) of Princeton, IN and Tom Bates (Karen) of Saint Peters, MO. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
