He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maddy Goodreau of Los Angeles, CA; his mother Cindy Kissel; his siblings, Evan Kissel, Courtney, Stephen Rexing and Hannah Kissel; his grandmother Mildred Heidenreich; his cousins, Goodreau and Tomzynski; his father Tim Kissel; and his grandparents, Betty, Earl Kissel and Paul Heidenreich. He was also cherished by his in-laws, and all of his aunts, uncles.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations are made to Colontown's Second Opinion Project (a project of Paltown).
