He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Whittington and Mildred M. Whittington; his former wife Patricia Ann Whittington; his daughter Julie Ann Whittington of Princeton; his great grandchild Alyssa; his children-in-law, Luanne Whittington, Curt Cain and Mark Embree; and his siblings, Fred (Grace), Floyd, Marlin and Mary Whittington.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Whittington; his children, Debra Cain of Francisco, Rick Whittington of Petersburg, Susan (Jeff Storckman) and Ben (Michelle Whittington); his stepchildren, Lisa of Princeton, Dave Sinkhorn of Princeton, Greg Harden of Princeton, Jill of Princeton and Mark Farris of Princeton; his grandchildren, Emily Kamman (Chris), Natalie Roethemeier (Ryan), Cassie Whittington Sutt (Jeremiah), Kelly Sanders (Josh), Marissa Clem (Dustin), Max Storckman (Charly), Mya, Maylin, Maverick and Mathias Storckman; his stepchildren, Tristan Whittington (Katie), Taylor, Tanessa, Tinsley Whittington, Brittney Wetekamp (Nathan), Ryan Harden (Lauren), Brittney Abel (Jace), Kyle Cummins (Kelsey), Stephan Farris (Meg) and Megan McClellan (Eric); his great grandchildren, Gavin, Alex, Allison, Catie, Jael, Walker, Bowen, Boone, Hailey, Jacen, Eli, Chandlyr, Makayah, Karsyn, Beckham, Brooks and Burkleigh; his sister-in-law Betty Whittington of Petersburg; and also, Susan, Ben and Linda Springer.
