It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip A. Juengel of Preble, Indiana, born in Avilla, Indiana, who passed away on November 28, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Juengel and Edna Juengel (Weimer); his wife Carolyn Jean Gerber; his son Craig Juengel; and his sisters, Lillian Peters and Esther Grawcock.
He is survived by: his sons, Kenneth Juengel of Christmas Valley, Oregon, Timothy Juengel (Emily) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Steven Juengel (April) of Plainfield, Indiana and Mark Juengel (Darlene) of Decatur, Indiana; his brother-in-law Art Grawcock of Avilla, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Jason Juengel, Jean Smith, James Juengel, Rose Juengel, Lucas Juengel, Abbigail Juengel, Courtney Juengel, Bridget Juengel, Samuel Juengel, Zachary Juengel, Emma Juengel and Theodore Juengel. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Preferred memorials are to Zion Lutheran Church or Preble Volunteer Fire Department.
