He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendel Martin, Sr. and Marie Martin Schmitt (Voelker); his wife Darlene Earline Martin (Happe); his son Joshua Allen Martin; his brother Donnie Martin; and his grandson Christopher Riedford.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Martin (Dawn), Gail Riedford (Michael), Julie Ferguson (Brian), Jennifer Luigs (Larry), Christine Fulton (Donnie) and Tracey Kihn (Walter); his siblings, Larry Martin (Lois), Wendel Martin, Jr. (Carol) and Diane Woods (Harry); and his sister-in-law Suzanne Martin. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (10 N St Francis St, Poseyville, IN 47633). A burial was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church Cemetery (10 N St Francis St, Poseyville, IN 47633).
