She was predeceased by: her husband Robert L. Carpenter; and her siblings, Willard, James, Haven, Irene Dyson, Martha Taylor, Edna Hays and Fannie Hix.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Carpenter (Diana) and Larry Carpenter (Donna Schmitt); her grandchildren, Patrick Carpenter (Denise) and Angela Hyatt (Danny); her great grandchildren, Selena, Alexus, Colton, Dylan Carpenter, Austin Hyatt and Katelyn Hyatt; and her sister Deloris Hill of Sugarland.
