With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vertis Darrell Farrar of Poseyville, Indiana, born in Lawrenceville, Illinois, who passed away on February 19, 2021 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Vertis Darrell Farrar to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Edith Farrar (Hassell); his siblings, Harold Farrar, Darwin "Dob" Farrar, Maxine Curl and Emma Faye Hale; and his son-in-law Charlie Cline.
He is survived by: his children, James Farrar (Sue), Glenda Jaccard (Doug), Regina Cline and Alice Reynolds (Jeff); his grandchildren, Michele Wagner (Brian), Melody Mehringer (Donn), Monica Sinclair (Russ), Amy Frymire (Michael), Jonathan Farrar (Elisha), Lisa Turner (Jeremy), Shela Smith (Shea), Gabriel Reynolds and Cheryl Ibrahim (Josh); and his sister Catherin Montgomery. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
All those who wish to honor and remember Darrell in person at the service is required to wear a mask for the safety of all those in attendance. Social distancing will be enforced.
