He was predeceased by: his father Joshua Glen Mathew; his wife Deborah Sue Mathew (Lockwood); his children, Angela and Marcus Mathew; and his sister-in-law Chere Garrett.
He is survived by: his brothers, Tim Mathew (Lucy) and David Mathew (Mona); his daughter-in-law Tia Mathew; his brother-in-law Keith Lockwood (Candy); and his grandson Elias Mathew. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
