He is survived by: his wife Velma (Hawkins); his children, Kendra Elpers (Carl) of St. Wendel, Indiana, Rick Jay (Carmen) of Haubstadt and Tim Jay (Pam) of Evansville; his stepchildren, Dawna Sandala (Scott) and Jody Cumbee (Christine) of Cynthiana; his grandchildren, Hannah Everly, Nicholas Jay, Jourdan Bourne, Alexandria Elpers, Madison Elpers, Andy Turpin, Troy Turpin, Claire Sandala, Olivia Kent, Jackson Sandala, Megan Reidford, Andrew Cumbee and Laura Cumbee; and his sister Judy Inkenhaus of Evansville. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
Due to the national health crisis, masks are recommended and social distancing should be observed.
