He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Hassell and Anna Dorothy Weedman (Overton); and his brothers, James and Roy Weedman. He is survived by: his daughters, Tamara Kay Graves (Darrell) and Susan Patton (Tim Benson); his siblings, Robert Weedman, Mary Jane Tenison and Sandra Murphy; his close friend Carol Gilbert; and his pet Punky.
