It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnnie Bert Straw Sr. of Poseyville, Indiana, who passed away on April 1, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Anita J. Straw (Cleveland); his sister Annabelle Hedges; his grandson John David Carney; and his daughter-in-law Connie S. Straw (Brown). He is survived by: his wife Joy Ann Straw (Sharp); his children, Johnnie B. Straw, Jr. of Evansville, Jerry A. Straw (Brenda) of Poseyville, David W. Straw (Susie) of Wadesville, Indiana and Vicki Lee Carney (Charley) of Poseyville, Indiana; his stepdaughter Xan McClure (Rick) of Owensville, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Marc Baldus (Amie), Ron Straw (Carrie), Jeannie Mayes (Dan), Leah Weber (Micheal), Lacey Straw, Joe Carney (Keri), Katilyn Benis and Glenn McClure. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
