We bid farewell to John Martin Webb (Poseyville, Indiana), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 8, 2024 at the age of 97. John Martin touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dempsey Martin and Eunice Webb (Cox); his wife Jean; and his siblings, Robert Maurice Webb (Frances) and Murlea "Susie" Maier (Roy).

He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Louis Webb (Martha), Dennis John Webb (Cathy Jo) and Robert Roy Webb (Beth). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren along with 18 great grandchildren.

“Growing up, my favorite place to visit was at the Webb Farm. Then when I was 13, I spent the summer there as an Indentured Servant. I also worked there two summers later and actually got paid $20/wk. Uncle John was very much of a positive influence during those times. I once clipped the side of the garage with his Mercury and he never so much as raised his voice at me. He was supportive and encouraging, once telling me I would be a success in life because I could talk to anyone about anything.”
