He was predeceased by: his wife Martha E. Scheller Paul (Schenk); his sons, Kenneth Scheller and David Scheller; his siblings, Loretta Elpers, Mary Ann Eickhoff, Wilfred, Bill, Anthony and James Paul; and his daughter-in-law Cathy Scheller.
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Reidford (Ivan) of Poseyville, Monica Espenlaub (George) of Baytown, TX, Tina Pate (Jeff) of St. Wendel, Daniel Scheller of Evansville, John Scheller of Poseyville and Ronald Scheller (Karol) of Evansville; his sister Betty Helfert (Ed) of Poseyville; his daughter-in-law Mary Scheller; and his sister-in-law Gloria Paul. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; forty-one great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
