He was predeceased by: his wife Vonda Sue Thomas; and his siblings, Donald, Joe, Elvis, Virgil, Glen Thomas, Wanetta Deckard and Mary Ruth Garrett.
He is survived by: his sons, John Thomas (Lisa) of Poseyville, Indiana, Keith Thomas (Sheiliea) of Evansville, Brian Thomas (Gina) of Evansville, Kevin Thomas (Shari) of Poseyville and David Thomas of Evansville, Indiana; and his siblings, Bonnie Huntsman (Lee) of Frostproof, Phyllis Turner of Mt. Vernon, Carolyn Dickens (Steve) of Evansville, Shelby Mills (Elmer) of Peoria, Ken Thomas (Barbara) of Mt. Vernon and Denny Thomas (Kala) of New Harmony, Indiana. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
