He was predeceased by: his parents, Willibald Brackman and Marcella Brackman (Omlor); his wife Mary Dean Pogue; his son Jeff Blackford; and his siblings, Harold, Ralph Brackman and Cecelia Alber.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Brackman of Surprise, Paul Brackman (Desi) of Portland, Steve Brackman (Irmgard) of Surprise, Ellen Maudlin (John) of Lake Mary, Candace Murphy (Rick) of Bluffton and Sue Brandenburg (Larry) of Portland, Eleven. He is also survived by Eleven grandchildren and Eighteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Jay County Humane Society or Miller's Merry Manor.
