It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Smitley (Portland, Indiana), who passed away on December 28, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Verner Ickes and Nevo Ickes (Haffner); her husband James Smitley; and her sons, Steve Smitley (Norma) of Richmond and Mike Smitley of Cadiz. She was also cherished by Four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
