He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leander Penrod and Mildred Penrod (Dunwiddie); his wife Thelma Ford; his children, Beth Bruns, Julie Penrod (Mike Bruggeman) and Scott Penrod; his grandchildren, Grace, Faith Bruns, Shelby McGalliard, Calli Crosby and Gage Penrod; and his great grandchildren, Jayden and Bryson Teeter.
The family requests memorials be directed to the Jay County Fair Association to plant trees.
