It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philip A. Hartman of Portland, Indiana, who passed away on January 2, 2025, at the age of 20, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Philip leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Philip may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his parents, James Hartman and Robin Hartman (Lake) of Portland; his sister Mary Hartman of Bloomington; and his grandparents, Bob and Joyce Lake of Portland.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home (221 N S Meridian St, Portland, IN 47371). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
